SPETTACOLO PIROTECNICO A DOLCEACQUA 2015 (VIDEO)
Dolceacqua: i fuochi artificiali musicali sanciscono la pace tra i Doria e i Grimaldi.
Sabato scorso (22 agosto 2015) migliaia di persone hanno invaso la storica città di Dolceacqua per il consueto appuntamento dello spettacolo piromelodico in programma ogni anno il weekend successivo al ferragosto.
Anche quest’anno il suggestivo borgo medioevale ha fatto da scenario per uno spettacolo unico nel suo genere che riesce a coinvolgere l’intera comunità intemelia insieme a numerosissimi turisti. Appuntamento per tutti già in prima serata nella piazza di fronte al Castello Doria, allestito per l’occasione con stand gastronomici che hanno offerto un menu di cucina tipica ligure, accompagnati dalle note del gruppo musicale Lost in Blues che hanno offerto brani dal loro repertorio.
La spettacolare coreografia dei fuochi artificiali danzanti hanno celebrato, nell’edizione 2015, le vicissitudini belliche intercorse tra l’autoctona nobile Famiglia dei Doria e la Casata dei Grimaldi, che tra il 1400 ed il 1500 hanno visto susseguirsi alleanze, sancite da un celebre matrimonio, e guerre, conseguenze di un brutale omicidio nel Principato.
In tempi recenti, i frequenti contatti tra Dolceacqua ed il Principato di Monaco si sono via via sempre più intensificati ed hanno consentito la visita ufficiale di S.A.S. il Principe Alberto di Monaco che, il 17 settembre 2013, ha visitato il Castello Doria accompagnato dal Sindaco e dalle autorità cittadine. Questo evento ha suggellato definitivamente la pace tra le due Casate, festeggiata da un finale scintillante che ha “infiammato” il castello e l’antico ponte romano, auspicio di un’alleanza duratura con i vicini monegaschi.

Dolceacqua: musical fireworks ratified a Peace treaty between the Doria’s and the Grimaldi’s noble families.
Last Saturday (on the 22nd August 2015) thousands of people invaded the historical city of Dolceacquain order to enjoy the traditional musical firework show, planned every year on the weekend after the Italian Ferragosto (every 15th August).
Once again, the evocative Medieval village was the setting of this unique show which is involving the whole Intemelia community together with many visitors. Everybody crowded into the main square facing the Doria’s Castle, set up with food stands serving a typical menu based on traditional Ligurian recipes. The event was accompanied by a live blues music played by the Lost in Blues Band.
This year, the extraordinary musical fireworks choreography celebrated the historical troubles between the local Doria noble family and the Monegasque Grimaldi’s one who, in between 1400 and 1500, were at first allies, thanks to a famous wedding, and later became enemies, because of a brutal murder in the Principality.
In modern times, frequent contacts between Dolceacqua and Monaco had been implemented until the 17th September 2013, when H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco visited the Doria’s Castle at Dolceacquainvited by the Mayor and other city Authorities. This event sealed the definitive Peace Agreement between the two Families, celebrated by the shining final show which “set on fire” the Castle and the Roman bridge, good omen for a long lasting alliance with the Monegasque neighbours.
