Barbara Frateschi Moreno – artista (Videointervista)
Ospedaletti: preziose sfumature di luce e colore guidano i visitatori alla mostra della pittrice Barbara Frateschi Moreno.
Nel tardo pomeriggio del soleggiato sabato 6 giugno, si è svolta con garbo ed eleganza l’inaugurazione della terza mostra della pittrice Barbara Frateschi Moreno, presso il suo atelier artistico in Via XX Settembre, 69, sul Lungomare di Ospedaletti. Presenti all’evento, oltre al marito: l’Ambasciatore Maurizio Moreno, numerosi visitatori tra cui politici, giornalisti, galleristi, critici d’arte ed amatori.
L’artista presenta una ventina di opere che, spaziando dall’arte informale al figurativo, ben rappresentano la sua inconfondibile tecnica pittorica, dai tratti raffinati, che sembrano guidarci in un mondo onirico partendo dal reale, caratterizzato da un armonico insieme di culture e tradizioni che ci portano fino al Maghreb (ndr.: Nord Africa Occidentale).
Gli evidenti richiami ai colori del Ponente ligure evidenziati dal dipinto “Orizzonte” (2013) che domina la sala, aprendosi come una finestra sul mare cristallino di Ospedaletti, abbellito da una leggera silhouette di palme, ben si armonizzano con l’astrattismo di altre opere come “Monocromo verde” (2014) o “Sull’onda del tempo” (2013). Di altrettanto interesse le sperimentazioni di colore usate in “Motivation” (2014), dalle sfumature del rosa, o in “Unlimited stripes 1” (2014), in cui si utilizza un ampio spettro di colori che trasmettono ispirazioni più esotiche.
L’artista infatti, come ha ricordato ai nostri microfoni, traspone nelle sue tele il racconto polisemico di una vita intensa vissuta tra Marocco, Roma, Parigi, New York, Ginevra e Ospedaletti, cercando di rappresentare figurativamente il ricordo delle emozioni, dei sapori, dei colori, dei luoghi visitati e delle persone conosciute. Il risultato pittorico è di sicuro impatto cromatico ed esprime il “desiderio dell’artista di trasmettere delle sensazioni positive all’osservatore”, affrontando “il problema dell’essere non dell’esserci” come ben descritto, tra gli altri, dai critici d’arte: Vittorio Schieroni e Giovanni Rizzoli.

Ospedaletti: precious nuances of light and colour lead the visitors to the new Art Exhibition by the painter Barbara Frateschi Moreno.
In the twilight of a sunny afternoon, on Saturday, the 6th of June, the inauguration of the third art exhibition by the painter Barbara Frateschi Moreno, took place, with a delicate taste of elegance,in her Art Space located in Via XX Settembre, 69, along the Seaside Promenade of Ospedaletti. Her husband, the Ambassador Maurizio Moreno, and many other visitors, among them: politicians, journalists, art dealers, art critics and amateurs attended this event.
The artist presents some twenty paintings which perfectly show us her unique and refined pictorial technique, just in between informal and figurative art, guiding the audience into a dreamlike world based on real life as a result of a harmonic combination of cultures and traditions, taking us as far as Maghreb (editor’s note: North Western Africa).
The clear references to the colours of the Ligurian-Western-Riviera highlighted in the painting “Orizzonte” (2013) [Horizon], overlooking the art space like an imaginary window over the crystal clear sea of Ospedaletti, adorned by an impalpable palm-tree outline, matched well with other abstract paintings such as the “Monocromo verde” (2014) [Green Monochrome] or the “Sull’onda del tempo” (2013) [On the wave of Time]. Also the colour testing techniques are very interesting, such as “Motivation” (2014), with rose nuances, or “Unlimited stripes 1” (2014), in which the artist uses a wide range of colours inspiring exotic feelings.
The painter, in fact, as she says in our interview, transposes on canvas a polysemic story derived from her intense life, experienced in Morocco, Rome, Paris, New York, Geneva and Ospedaletti, trying to represent, in a figurative sense, her souvenir of the emotions, the tastes, the colours, the places which she has visited and the people who she has met. The pictorial result generates a chromatic impact and expresses the “artist’s desire to transmit positive sensations to the observer”, facing “the matter of being, regardless of being in a given place” as it was well described by the art critics: Vittorio Schieroni and Giovanni Rizzoli [named among the others].
